Is dengue fever vaccination required for children?

Who should not be vaccinated against dengue fever?

Any individual who falls under following conditions or criteria must not be vaccinated:
1) Individuals who have not had prior infection of dengue.
2) If you are allergic to any one of the ingredients used in the vaccination
3) If you have conditions like HIV or on immunosuppressive treatments
4) If you are planning for pregnancy or pregnant or a breastfeeding woman

Taking additional precautions such as using repellents like tea tree oil , Picaridin , etc and wearing clothes covering the full body to avoid mosquito bites is important.
